Tekapo Panoramas

Tekapo Tourism has a choice of two virtual reality panoramas. The first looking north from east to west, the second looking south from west to east. Both panoramas were captured in the summer of 2005 and are not 'live'. Adobe's Flash Viewer is required to view the interactive images.
Click on each image to activate each interactive panorama.

Northern view panorama

View Tekapo village, the Two Thumb range, Lake Tekapo, the Southern Alps and Lake Alexandrina.

Southern view panorama

View the Ben Ohau range, Tekapo airfield, Tekapo village, Lake Tekapo and the Two Thumb range.

Lake shore panorama

View Lake Tekapo from the village domain on the lake shore.
See the Church of the Good Shepherd to the right and Mt John observatory to the left.

Viewing instructions
To view the panorama, place your mouse cursor over the image and click on it to activate. Move the mouse in the direction you wish the image to move and the image will move with the mouse.
