Air Safaris at Lake Tekapo provide 'Grand Traverse' scenic flights over some of New Zealand's most spectacular scenery. The 50 minute flights pass over Mt Cook (Aoraki) and Westland National Parks, 12 major glaciers, the highest peaks in Oceania and the sub tropical rain forests of the South Island's West Coast.

A booking office operates in the centre of Tekapo township, but flights are also arranged with a visit to the airport.
